Where is the Career Services Office located?

The Career Services Office is located at 46 Church Street, 2nd Floor, Boston , MA.  The mailing address is 154 Stuart Street, Boston, MA  02116.

What hours is the Career Services Office open?

Office hours are 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
The office is open 9:00 a.m - 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
Early and late counseling appointments are available upon request, Monday through Thursday (7:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.) Please note that appointments made outside of regular office hours must be made at least 48 hours in advance.

Do I need an appointment to meet with a career counselor?

Appointments are encouraged for more lengthy questions and for planning a job search strategy. 

Can I send my career questions by e-mail? Telephone? Or walk in?

Career counselors are available to answer your career related questions by e-mail, over the phone, or when you walk into the office.  However, if the counselors are meeting with students who have appointments, then you may have to wait until one is available to answer your question(s).

Where can I print or fax my resume?

The CSO has everything that you need to present your resume to employers.  We have two computers, a laser printer, and a fax machine available in the CSO office for student use.  We also have resume paper, envelopes, and labels for your employment mailings. 

ABOUT THE CAREER SERVICES STAFF:

Mandie R. Araujo, Esq.

Director
Mandie R. Araujo is the director of the Career Services Office.  Mandie received her B.A. in political science from Spelman College in 1997 and her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in 2001.  Before joining New England School of Law in 2006, Mandie was the program director for The Boston Lawyers Group and a program consultant for the Lawyers Collaborative for Diversity, where she assisted legal employers with recruiting and retaining diverse attorneys.  She was previously an associate and of counsel at McKenzie & Associates, P.C.  Mandie is also the president of Pardon Me, Inc., a business etiquette consulting firm that teaches students and executives how to present themselves professionally in the workplace. 

Sarah Coffey

Assistant Director
Sarah Coffey is the assistant director of the Career Services Office.  She is experienced in counseling students in job search skills, interview techniques, and a wide variety of practice areas. Sarah has seven years of law school career services experience, including three years as New England School of Law’s legal recruitment coordinator. Before joining New England School of Law in 2004, she was the recruitment coordinator in Boston University School of Law’s Career Development Office. Sarah also spent two years as an AmeriCorps volunteer teaching English for Speakers of Other Languages to adult immigrants in South Boston. She received her dual B.A. in English and German from Guilford College in Greensboro, NC, in 1998.

Justin D. Panighetti, Esq.

Legal Recruitment Coordinator
Justin Panighetti coordinates legal recruitment within the Career Services Office. Justin received his B.A. in political science from Edinboro University in 2003. He received his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School three years later. Justin was admitted to the Massachusetts bar in December of 2006. Before joining New England School of Law in July of 2007, Justin practiced family law at Lynch, Brewer, Hoffman & Fink LLP.

Khadija Brewington

Administrative Assistant
Khadija Brewington is the administrative assistant for the Career Services Office.  She is studying psychology at University of Massachusetts-Boston.  Before joining New England School of Law, Khadija worked as a customer service representative for Cambridge Savings Bank.
