Celebrating the history of New England School of Law would not be complete without honoring the service of James DeGiacomo. One of the original Adjunct Professors at the law school, DeGiacomo taught from 1959 to 2001, in addition to serving as the school’s outside counsel. DeGiacomo specializes in civil litigation, including business and fiduciary litigation, legal malpractice defense, and domestic relations. In 1988, he was appointed by the Supreme Judicial Court to the Board of Bar Overseers and served as Chairman from 1990 to 1991. He currently is a partner of Murtha Cullina LLP and has twice been selected as one of the Best Lawyers in America.
