Martin Foster’s independent career decisions began early. Before finishing law school, he had already worked for some of the most independent minds in the United States Congress: Harold Ford, Bella Abzug, Tip O’Neill and Joe Moakley. Upon graduation, Foster joined the school’s board of trustees, became vice Chairman in 1987, and assumed his current role of chairman in 2007. In private practice, he is a founding partner of one of the largest medical malpractice defense firms in New England.
