Alexandre Adams and Sean Hope

Adams, co-founder of the family law firm Adams & Rafferty, was married with children when he attended Portia Law School. He praises the school’s flexibility and the commitment of the instructors. He remembers that Dean Margaret Bauer “always had her door open” to students. Although the school has changed a lot over the years, Adams sees a familiar “intensity of joy in the practice of law” in current students. This is why he hires New England School of Law graduates whenever he can. One of the newest members of his firm is Sean Hope, class of 2007. Hope is proud of the school’s sense of community and mutual support.
