Georgia Lempesis Ypsilantis
Portia Law School, 1953
Ypsilantis attended Portia at time when there were very few women enrolled. Yet she never felt isolated by her male classmates, calling the Portia community her “family.” Although she did not take the bar, she credits her education with helping her found a very successful business: Accufile provides filing services for “professional libraries.” Many of her clients are law firms.
