Transfer Applicants

Each year we welcome students to transfer to New England Law | Boston after successfully completing one year at an American Bar Association or state-accredited law school.   Transfer admission is based in large part on your performance during at least one complete year at your current law school.  Transfer students are normally admitted to begin studies in the fall with applications and all supporting documentation due by July 1.  However, at the discretion of the Admissions Committee, applicants for admission with advanced standing may be admitted to begin studies in the spring semester; please contact the Admissions Office by November 1 for more information about the spring semester option.

Transfer Application Requirements

As a transfer applicant, you must complete the following steps:

1. Submit a completed New England Law | Boston application form .
2. Submit a non-refundable $65 application fee before July 1 for the fall semester or November 1 for the spring semester.
3. Take the LSAT (within the past five years).
4. Register with the Law School Admissions Council (LSAC) so that an official Law School Data Assembly Service (LSDAS) report will be sent to New England Law.
5. Forward the following documentation to New England Law:

• A letter of good standing from the dean of your current law school
• One letter of recommendation from a law professor
• An official transcript showing at least one year of grades
• Personal statement
