A variety of grants & scholarships are available to offset the costs of a New England Law | Boston education.
Merit-based Scholarships:
Justice Sandra Day O’Connor Merit Scholarships
Full-tuition and $30,000 Justice Sandra Day O’Connor Merit Scholarships are available to incoming students who show exceptional academic promise. All students are considered upon admission to the school, without further application. These scholarships are renewable annually, provided the recipient meets specified academic requirements.
New England Law | Boston Academic Achievement and Dean’s Merit Scholarships
These scholarships are awarded to incoming students who demonstrate outstanding academic promise. All students are considered upon admission to the school, without further application. The scholarships are renewable annually, provided the recipient meets specified academic requirements.
Charles Hamilton Houston Merit Scholarships
These scholarships—in amounts up to full tuition—were established to recognize incoming underrepresented minority students demonstrating academic promise. All eligible students are considered upon admission to the school, without further application. These scholarships are renewable annually, provided the recipient meets specified academic requirements.
Trustee Academic Scholarships
A total of 10 half-tuition scholarships are awarded each year to the two students in each level of the day and evening divisions who earn the highest grade point average during the previous year at New England Law. No application is required to receive this scholarship and students will be notified in late summer of their award.

Trooper Mark S. Charbonnier Memorial Scholarships
Three half-tuition scholarships are given in memory of this Massachusetts state trooper who was awarded a JD posthumously after being killed in the line of duty during his last year at New England Law. Applicants must be entering their final year of the evening division and be employed full-time in either the Massachusetts State Police, City of Boston Police or any city or town regular police force in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Applications are available in early spring before the award year.
Robert S. Marcus Memorial Scholarship
A $5,000 scholarship is awarded to one day full-time student in their final year of school. The student must be from a single parent household, have a demonstrated commitment to trial practice and demonstrate financial need. Applications are available in early spring and are awarded before the end of the academic year.
