This scholarship is intended to support law students intending to pursue public interest law and add to the ranks of motivated young attorneys willing to consider a career as a public interest lawyer. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S., an accepted student who will be attending law school in fall 2015, and show academic achievement, as reflected by an undergraduate cumulative minimum 3.0 GPA.

This scholarship was created to help a graduate pursue a legal career in family law. The $1,000 scholarship will partially defray first-year expenses for a student who has been accepted into an accredited law school in California or anywhere in the United States for enrollment in the fall of 2015. Part of the application included a 1-3 page essay, asking the applicant to describe the personal experience that inspired them to enter law school and study family law.

The Reeves Law Group is offering a $2,500 scholarship to a deserving student and future lawyer who authors a winning essay. The essay topic is "My dream contribution to society as a lawyer". Essay should be 750-1000 words long or submitted as a PowerPoint or Prezi presentation. The scholarship will be awarded to the applicant who best conveys a strong desire and goal of using the legal system to fix or improve a problem in society.
