Jennifer Hayden (Class of 2002)
Ms. Hayden has long been dedicated to public interest law. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Hayden worked at Rosie’s Place, an emergency drop-in center for women. Both her experience at Rosie’s Place, and the personal circumstances of her brother, which she describes in her application, impelled her to attend law school and dedicate herself to using her legal skills and compassion to represent indigent litigants. She therefore has worked for two years with Neighborhood Legal Services in Lynn, MA, both in the Housing and Family Law Units. Having witnessed the devastating effect of lack of affordable housing, of eviction and of homelessness, she has settled into the Housing Unit.
