I am an alumni of the evening class of NESL of 1994. I am presently a Staff Attorney at the Rhode Island Disability Law Center which is the Protection and Advocacy System for Rhode Island. (Mass. Disability Law Center is the Mass. counterpart). I have been in this position for 2 1/2 years. All attorneys in our office are generalists and so practice in all areas of disability law from Special Education Law, Employment Discrimination, ADA discrimination cases, etc. We are staffed by 5 staff attorneys, 2 supervising attorneys, 2 paralegals, 2 intake advocates and an Executive Director.
