Public Service Work Performed By Other New England Law Faculty

Professor Lawrence M. Friedman

Professor Friedman is president of the board of directors of Massachusetts Appleseed, a non-profit organization that aims to eliminate the legal barriers that stand between Massachusetts residents and access to basic services and opportunities. Currently, the Center is involved in an effort to address the school to prison pipeline problem in the Commonwealth; the Center is also engaged in a project involving immigrant access to financial services.

In addition, Professor Friedman has consulted with the Civil Liberties Union of Massachusetts about various Massachusetts state constitutional law issues.
