Professor Philip K. Hamilton

Professor Hamilton was New England School of Law's Clinical Director from 1981 to 1988. Before joining NESL, he worked at Cambridge & Somerville Legal Services, Inc., as a staff attorney and chief counsel. He currently is a Board Member of Greater Boston Legal Services, and serves on the Boston Bar Foundation IOLTA grants committee, which awards grants for legal services work. He is the vice-chair of the Lexington Conservation Commission, having served on the Commission since 1992. Professor Hamilton is the only lawyer on the Commission and most of the Commission's work is governed by state (DEP) regulations and the town's local by-law for wetland protection.
