2008 - 2009: Human Trafficking Task Force

(Boston, Revised 11/13/09) New England Law | Boston: In November 2008, Student Stephanie Kul (’09) and Professor Dina Haynes attended the Massachusetts Human Trafficking Task Force Meeting. Continuing its involvement with the Task Force, in February 2009, CLSR Fellow Susan Walton, Stephanie Kul, and Professor Dina Haynes summarized the 2008 Reauthorization of the Trafficking Victim Protection Act and presented their summary at the U.S. Attorneys Office at the first meeting of the Legal Section of the Massachusetts Human Trafficking Task Force.

On May 21, 2009, Professor Dina Haynes provided instruction and training to area federal and local law enforcement, U.S. Attorneys, lawyers, and victim service providers on the Trafficking Victim Protection Act.

The ILP plans to continue its involvement with this Task Force into the summer and next school year.
