Early closing on Monday / closed on Tuesday
Due to the impending storm, New England Law is canceling classes that begin at 2 p.m. or later on Monday and will be closed for day and evening classes on Tuesday. All classes starting before 2 p.m. on Monday will be held as scheduled. The Stuart Street building and library will close at 4 p.m. on Monday and will remain closed on Tuesday. Administrative offices will close at 2 p.m. on Monday and will be closed on Tuesday. We will monitor the progress of the storm and will post updates about Wednesday’s arrangements. more >

Public Service Transcript Notation Program

Students may obtain transcript recognition for appropriate public service legal work.

  • Students must perform a minimum of twenty-five hours of legal work;
  • The work must be on a volunteer basis, so students may not count work for which they receive credit or pay;
  • The program is being operated under the auspices of the Center for Law and Social Responsibility

Students must submit a completed form, available in hard copy, to obtain recognition for their work. The form should be submitted to the Clinic Office, 46 Church Street, 1st Floor, to Professor Engler's attention.
