Alumni discuss environmental law careers

Three New England School of Law alumni discussed their experiences in environmental law practice on Thursday, March 30, 2006. Sponsored by the Center for Law and Social Responsibility's LawMatters Series and the Environmental Law Society, the event allowed students interested in environmental law to meet with and discuss the field with alumni attorneys actively practicing in the field.

The program featured Cindy Karlson ('96), Day, Berry & Howard; Luke Legere ('05), McGregor & Associates; and Laura Bickel ('03), City of Boston Environment Department. The three met with students of Professor Peter Manus's Environmental Advocacy class.

LawMatters is a discussion series of the CLSR, which enables students, faculty, and others to examine developing legal issues of public importance. The CLSR launched the program in 2004 with a discussion on same-sex marriage. LawMatters provides a chance for students and faculty to air their views on current legal issues outside the classroom.
