Public Service work at NESL includes work by NESL Faculty, Students, and Alumni.
Students at New England School of Law perform public service work through clinical courses, student groups, and employment, both paid and volunteer including through summer employment.
The primary vehicle at NESL for organizing and implementing public service work is the Center for Law and Social Responsibility.
Some students use all the vehicles in concentrating in a public interest practice: see Student Profiles for their stories.
Faculty public service work includes the work of the Associated Faculty of the Center for Law and Social Responsibility and the pro bono work of other NESL faculty members.
Some alumni work in public interest jobs while others perform pro bono work. See www.nesl.edu/clsr/service/alumprofiles.cfm for their profiles.
