Using AV Setups: Equipment & Software in the Moot Court Room
Using the built in connections:
Networked Laptop:

The judge's laptop connects to the cable on the judge's desk; a network port is built in.
Select "PC" on the touchpad, then choose "judge's laptop" or "counsel laptop".

Counsel laptop connections are on the floor under counsel table.

The buttons on the upper right lead to other menus. Below these are "Volume Control" and "Exit" buttons.
Playing VHS or DVD Select "playback vcr controls" from touchpad, upper left. Select the "VCR" or "DVD" button from top menu.
Recording to VCR:One VCR is maiked "recording" and the other "playback." Select "Record VCR Controls" on the upper left.
Ceiling Mounted Plasma ScreensTouchpad controls if camera view, playback, or computer is projected.
Mounted VideoCameras Choose Camera 1 or Camera 2 to capture/project either the front or rear of room.
MicrophonePlease discuss your needs with CMC staff. Users in the Moot Court Room have wireless mikes on stands available, as pictured, or presenters can request lapel mikes .
Available Software
Windows 2000 Operating SystemInternet Explorer; Acrobat Reader; Word; PowerPoint; Excel; WordPerfect; and SmartBook Software are all installed on this computer. If you have other needs, please specify on your AV request.
