Using the SmartBoard
Set Up:Normal setup utilizes USB connections and a second projector which provides a second display in the large classrooms.
Orient the Board:Power on the computer & projection system. Orient the Board by touching the center of the ?+? where the arrow points. Suitable accuracy for most uses is 20 crosses. Close the Smart Board mini menu to begin use.
SmartBoard Basics:The smartboard controls display on the lower left of the monitor as well as on the board itself.

Sympodium:The Sympodium is a small tablet using smartboard technology which allows the Professor to face the class. NESL is planning to purchase one for the fall semester. The U. of Alberta has a good tutorial.
