- Suffolk Lawyers for Justice, Inc. (SLJ) is a non-profit organization responsible for administering criminal defense services to indigent persons accused of crimes in Suffolk County, Massachusetts. SLJ manages over 300 private attorneys who handle about 90% of indigent criminal defense cases in Greater Boston. New England Law students are paired and work with SLJ attorneys.
