New England Law | Boston’s highest priority is the success of its students. The school’s strategic resources provide the support students need to make the most of their opportunities.

In addition to the specific programs listed below, members of the Academic Excellence program faculty are always available to help students develop the skills they need. They are also on hand to assist them in dealing with some of the anxieties that law students experience.

  • Academic Excellence Program—Created for first-year students, this program integrates teaching and the supervised practice of skills.
  • Legal Analysis—A for-credit/graded course for third-semester students, linked with the mandatory Evidence course, giving students extensive feedback on their analysis of problems presented on exams and on the Bar Exam
  • The Bar Assistance Program—Provides graduating students with a review of subjects that are heavily tested on the bar exam and with coaching in test taking.
New, for Spring 2009: A three credit, graded class for all final semester students, which includes doctrinal review, skills practice, and extensive guidance for preparing for the Bar Exam.
  • The Charles Hamilton Houston Enrichment Program—Seeks to reduce the isolation often felt by minority students, address racial bias in the law school community, and promote diversity in the New England Law student body.
