New England Law Opportunities

Seeing things from the bench.

“Assisting a federal trial judge with dispensing justice after only two years of law school was an unrivaled experience.  Of course, working for a federal judge was, by itself, quite an honor; but seeing my own thoughts, ideas, and legal analysis included in published federal opinions throughout the course of my judicial internship was the most rewarding part of all.”

John L. Sullivan III ’10, discussing his Honors Judicial Internship

New England Law | Boston offers two distinct judicial internship opportunities that students can take advantage of while still in law school.  Many of our students come to their postgraduate clerkships having already served with a judge, and know what judges expect and are prepared from day one.  In addition, judges seeking clerks can get references for our students directly from other judges or government officials.
