Professor Varyani joined New England Law | Boston in 2012 as faculty fellow, teaching Property.  She was a senior associate for McCarter & English, LLP, managing all stages of litigation for taxpayers before the Massachusetts Appellate Tax Board and Appeals Court, working with corporations and individuals during tax planning and audit, and representing taxpayers in the appeals process and settlement negotiations with the Massachusetts Department of Revenue.  She previously served as an associate with Holland + Knight, LLP and was a senior tax consultant for Ernst & Young, LLP.  She is the education subcommittee chair of the Boston Bar Association's Diversity & Inclusion section.
