A faculty member since 1984, Professor Finneran teaches Business Organizations, Contracts, and UCC: Secured Transactions, areas in which she also focuses her writing. Before joining the New England Law faculty, she was an associate at Bingham, Dana & Gould in Boston and Shearman & Sterling in New York. In 1993, she was a visiting professor at the University of Bucharest School of Law in Romania. She is past chair of the Business Law Section Council of the Massachusetts Bar Association and a current member of the MBA’s Employment Law Council.
