A member of the faculty at New England Law since 1972, Professor Smith teaches Business Organizations, Civil Procedure, Law Practice Management, and Modern Real Estate Transactions. His areas of research include technology, communications regulation, utility regulation, and procedural due process in the context of present economic and business practices. He previously worked for the Boston law firm of Nutter, McClennen & Fish and was a clerk for the Hon. George E. MacKinnon of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.
