The New England Journal of International & Comparative Law gladly considers unsolicited manuscripts. We encourage authors to contact us in order to verify our publication schedule before submitting articles. Please observe the following guidelines when sending your article to the Journal:
To be considered for publication, articles submitted must either relate directly to current issues affecting international law or, through comparative analysis, address legal developments affecting the international community.
The Journal accepts articles written by legal professionals and university or law school faculty. Submissions are also accepted from students attending ABA-accredited law schools or similarly accredited post-graduate legal programs outside of the United States.
Authors wishing to submit an article should email an electronic copy in Word (.doc) or Rich Text Format (.rtf) along with a resume or CV to nejicl@gmail.com. Hard copy manuscripts are also accepted for initial consideration. Manuscripts, if mailed, should be printed on standard letter-sized paper, double spaced, and mailed to the address below.
Citations should be in footnote form and should conform to the current edition of The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation. We may accept articles using alternate citation formats, but the difficulty of converting citations to Bluebook format will be a factor in our choosing to edit and publish an article.
