Over the last year, the use of performance enhancing drugs among professional athletes has become a major concern for league officials, legislators, athletes and the general public. Because of this national interest, the New England Law Review is proud to host this year's annual symposium entitled, From Grand Slams to Grand Juries: Performance Enhancing Drug Use in Sports. The Law Review has invited doctors, athletes, attorneys and legal scholars to speak on this crisis currently facing the sporting community. The topics that will be covered include: the medical and ethical effects of steroid use; league regulations and available relief to players; and what is being done in the realm of reform both in the government and private sector.

four issues each year. The Law Review publishes articles of general legal
interest written by professors, judges, attorneys, experts, and students
of New England School of Law. In addition, each year New England Law Review
hosts a symposium addressing a contemporary legal issue.
