Conditions of Use and Licensing Restrictions for Electronic Resources
The Library subscribes to electronic journals, books and other databases for use by authorized users, which includes on-site patrons and remote access for current faculty, students, staff, and in some cases, alumni. The terms and conditions for using these resources are set out in electronic resource license agreements with each publisher. It is the responsibility of individual users to ensure their use of electronic resources does not breach the terms and conditions specified in the license agreements. Licenses vary from publisher to publisher; however, the general principles are:
| Permitted | Not Permitted |
|---|---|
|
|
Breaches of the Law School's contractual arrangements with publishers could result in the suspension of access to the resources for the entire New England Law | Boston community.
Some of our licenses are linked here. The remainder are on file in the Collection Development Librarian's offices.
Thanks to UC Berkely and Margaret Phillips, Electronic Resources Librarian, for permission to use the Berkely web page as a model.
