To Reserve a Carrel email achase@library.nesl.edu after you have read the policies below.

CARREL RESERVATION POLICIES

Nine study carrels are reservable to current NESL students for up to 30 days.  Due to space constraints within the library, there is no carrel reservation allowed during NESL's reading and exam period.

Three carrels are located on each floor at these locations: in the basement at the end of the state section, on the first floor opposite the Westlaw room and on the second floor next to stack 2. Each reservable carrel has an identifying number in the carrel.

Reserving a carrel is for the purpose of providing a place to store library materials for on-going research projects. No personal items should be left in any study carrel.

All library material stored in the carrel must be checked out to the carrel user at the circulation desk. Any material not checked out will be reshelved. Return all library items to the circulation desk for check in when finished.

You will be contacted by e-mail only if you cannot reserve a carrel.  Questions or problems-  Contact Anita Chase, achase@library.nesl.edu or call 617-422-7307.
