Group Study Room Policies

A library staff member will approve or decline your reservation (based on the rules that follow).  Once your room reservation is approved, it will show up on the calendar.

  • Group study rooms are available to current NESL students only  on a first come, first served basis.
  • Library study rooms are for study and research purposes only , not for student meetings. 
  • Reservation requests made more than two weeks in advance will not be honored.
  • Each group is entitled to four hours per week of study space.
  • You must include the first and last names of all students participating in the group study. A group is 2 or more students. 
  • Due to the great demand for group study space, any room not occupied after 15 minutes of scheduled time, will be considered forfeited and made available to others.
  • No food is allowed in the library or group study rooms.
  • Beverages are permitted in group study rooms as long as they are in a spill-proof container; however no beverages of any kind are permitted in rooms 201 and 202.
