In case of snow or other emergencies that require closing the law school, canceling classes, or delaying opening, the school has several methods of notifying students, faculty, and staff.
Our primary method of communication is through e2Campus, our emergency alert system. e2Campus will send you immediate notice of cancellations and delays via e-mail, phone, cell, or text message (whichever you select when you register or update your account).
You can also check the website or the phone message on our main number (617-451-0010), both of which will provide greater detail; they will indicate if the Stuart Street building is open and whether or not staff are expected to report.
We also post closing and delay notices on Channels 4 (1030 AM and TV 4) and 7 (680 AM and TV7), but these allow for the least specific information, so we recommend that you also confirm via one of the other methods.
We make every effort to post all notices at least three hours before day or evening classes begin (by 6 a.m. or 3 p.m.). When day classes are cancelled, the Stuart Street building and the library often remain open. That information is available on the website or at the main phone number.
