(Boston, Revised 03/15/2011) new England Law | Boston: New England Law | Boston has been named one of the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts in the third annual listing published in the Boston Globe. The Top Places to Work 2010 appeared in a magazine supplement that was published in the Sunday Globe on November 7.
The law school is the only educational institution included on this year’s list. The Top Places to Work recognizes the most progressive companies in the state and includes input from employees about company leadership, compensation and training, diversity/inclusion, career development, family-friendly flexibility, and values and ethics. Private companies and nonprofits as well as publicly held businesses were included in the analysis.
“I am particularly pleased by this recognition because it confirms how I feel about working here myself,” said Dean John F. O’Brien. “Those of us who are employed at New England Law spend our days in a collegial and friendly environment in which everyone contributes their best efforts. It doesn’t surprise me that the comments by our employees were overwhelmingly positive.
“But the mission of our institution also makes many of us particularly committed to the school. We help people achieve their dreams and reach their goals. Students benefit directly from the commitment and dedication of faculty and staff, which are crucial in making New England Law a superior learning environment.”
“Each of the companies included in the Top Places to Work 2010 deserves recognition for creating a positive workplace for their employees," stated Globe publisher Chris Mayer. “Their accomplishment adds to the vitality of this state’s business environment.”
