The Jewish Law Students Association (JLSA) of New England School of Law (NESL) was formed with the mission of expanding student awareness of Jewish culture. In order to accomplish this mission, the organization seeks to provide opportunities for JLSA members to interact with both Jewish and Non-Jewish NESL students, as well as students attending other Boston area law schools. As the organization's history reveals, the defense of basic human rights is of great importance to JLSA members and the organization seeks to spread knowledge of those basic rights through sponsorship of forums that are related to supporting the rights of others. Through its actions, the NESL JLSA has developed a strong reputation within the National Jewish Law Students Association (NJLSA) and seeks to maintain that high level by accomplishing substantial goals that are found throughout various sectors of the community.
