Meet the Career Services Staff
Mandie R. Araujo LeBeau, Esq., Director
Before joining New England Law | Boston in 2006, Mandie was the program director for The Boston Lawyers Group and a program consultant for the Lawyers Collaborative for Diversity, where she assisted legal employers with recruiting and retaining diverse attorneys. Earlier in her career, she was an associate at McKenzie & Associates, P.C.
Mandie serves as president of both the Massachusetts Association of Legal Recruiters and of Pardon Me, Inc., a business etiquette consulting firm that teaches students and executives how to present themselves professionally in the workplace. She received her B.A. in political science from Spelman College in 1997 and her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in 2001.
Sarah Coffey, Assistant Director and Pro Bono Coordinator
Sarah is experienced in counseling students in job search skills, interview techniques, and a wide variety of practice areas. She has spent eight years in law school career services, including four years as New England Law's legal recruitment coordinator. Sarah also serves as president of the Northeast Law School Consortium.
Sarah previously was the recruitment coordinator at Boston University School of Law’s Career Development Office, and she spent two years as an AmeriCorps volunteer teaching English for Speakers of Other Languages to adult immigrants in South Boston. She received her dual B.A. in English and German from Guilford College (Greensboro, NC) in 1998.
Becky Donahue, Esq., Career Advisor
Becky works with students who are preparing to graduate and makes sure that they have all of the resources necessary to find fulfilling positions.
Previously Becky practiced law at McDermott, Quilty & Miller LLP, where she focused on real estate transactions, business law, and liquor licensing. She received her bachelor’s degree from Wheaton College in 2002 and her J.D. from New England Law | Boston in 2005.
Sara Sandstrom, Legal Recruitment Coordinator
Sara coordinates all on and off-campus interview programs for students and also helps with career counseling for current students.
Previously Sara worked in the Career Services Office at Roger Williams University School of Law and at Framingham State College. She received her bachelor’s degree from Worcester State College in 2003 and her J.D. from Roger Williams University School of Law in 2007.
Kelly L. Sullivan, Administrative Assistant
Kelly worked in Legal Recruiting at Ropes and Gray, LLP before coming to New England Law | Boston. She received her bachelor's degree from Boston College in 2008.
