Meet the Career Services Staff
Mandie manages the Career Services Office at New England Law | Boston, where she counsels students and alumni on their careers and maintains employer relations. Before joining New England Law | Boston in 2006, Mandie was the program director for The Boston Lawyers Group and a program consultant for the Lawyers Collaborative for Diversity, where she assisted legal employers with recruiting and retaining diverse attorneys. Earlier in her career, she was an associate at McKenzie & Associates, P.C.
Mandie also serves as president of Pardon Me, Inc., a business etiquette consulting firm that teaches students and executives how to present themselves professionally in the workplace. She currently serves on the Data Policy and Collection Committee for the Council of the ABA Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar. She served as the Northeast Regional Coordinator for the National Association for Law Placement, 2010-2011; the co-chair of the Boston Bar Association's Diversity & Inclusion Section Sub-committee for Pipeline and Recruitment, 2010-2012; and she is a past-president of the Massachusetts Association of Legal Recruiters, 2010. She received her B.A. in political science from Spelman College and her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School.
Jocie Coletti, Esq., Associate Director and Pro Bono Coordinator
Jocie develops and manages all career services programs for students, serves as the facilitator of pro bono initiatives, and assists with career counseling for current students.
Previously Jocie served as director of special events in the Office of the Dean, developing systems for running law school events, including major annual events. In her previous and current positions, she has contributed an understanding of the law school’s goals, experience reviewing and negotiating contracts, and a focus on details and procedures. Before that, she was assistant director of admissions, recruiting prospective students to the law school. A 2005 graduate of New England Law | Boston, she was an intern at the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office and Quinn & Morris, P.C., and served in the law school’s in-house clinic. Jocie received a B.A. in liberal arts and sciences from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2002
Tovah Miller, Assistant Director and Recruitment Coordinator
Tovah coordinates all on-campus and off-campus interview programs and helps with career counseling for current students.
Previously Tovah worked as program specialist for the American Bar Association’s Commission on Disability Rights, where she counseled law students with disabilities on obtaining accommodations for law school and associated exams; led an intern search program; was a member of the ABA Staff Diversity Council; and matched law students with disabilities with lawyer mentors through the ABA Commission on Disability Rights National Mentor Program.
Tovah received a B.A. in religious studies from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in 2008, an M.S. in disability studies from Syracuse University School of Education in 2012, and a J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law in 2012.
