Human Rights Day Conference 2008

African Voices, Global Choices:
Impact on Human Rights

The International Law Society and the Center for International Law and Policy present a day-long Conference to:

Address human rights issues particularly relevant in Zimbabwe, The Democratic Republic of Congo and Sudan. The panels will address topics relating to children's issues, African – China relations and the International Criminal Court and its jurisdiction over war crimes, among other issues being faced in the regions.

Tickets: $10 at door

Barefoot Truth, Tin Can Tele and Jake Hill and the Law will be performing. The proceeds will go to organizations helping combat human rights abuses in Zimbabwe, Sudan, and The Democratic Republic of the Congo.
