Fall Submission Program - November 2010
The Executive Board of the New England Journal of International and Comparative Law invites academics and practitioners to submit works of legal scholarship for expedited review during the coming month of November. Our Fall Submission Program will operate according to the following terms:
- The Board will complete its review and convey its decision to the author within two weeks for any manuscript received as part of the Program.
- By submitting a manuscript to the Program, the author agrees to accept an offer of publication in the New England Journal of International and Comparative Law if an offer is made during the two-week period.
- Only manuscripts submitted during the month of November are eligible for consideration under the program.
- The Board requests that authors limit their submissions to the Program to one manuscript.
Article Specifications
The New England Journal of International and Comparative Law is accepting articles on topics involving international law or comparative analysis, and of varying lengths, from short (6,000 to 10,000 words) to long (25,000 to 30,000 words). Authors should note that we will be publishing articles in the next Volume of the Journal from our recent Conference on reviewing the work of the UN Human Rights Council. Articles concerning that topic specifically may receive preference, but that factor will by no means decide the issue.
Authors wishing to submit an article should email an electronic copy in Word (.doc) or Rich Text Format (.rtf) along with a resume or CV to nejicl@gmail.com.
Citations should be in footnote form and should conform to the current edition of The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation. We may accept articles using alternate citation formats, but the difficulty of converting citations to Bluebook format will be a factor in our choosing to edit and publish an article.
Paper Submission Procedure
For consideration as part of our Fall Submission Program, manuscripts must be submitted via e-mail to NEJICL@Gmail.com with a subject line containing “Fall Submission Program.”
Please note that the Journal will also continue to review all other manuscripts submitted during November through the traditional submission process.
