Student Organizations - Student Bar Association

Student Bar Association

Looking to get involved in activities outside of the classroom?  Law student organizations are valuable and enjoyable vehicles for building resumes, skills, and friendships.

The New England Law Student Bar Association (SBA) is the governing body of the students at New England Law and is affiliated with the Law Student Division of the American Bar Association. Our mission, as set forth in the New England Law SBA Constitution, is to promote the ideals of the American legal tradition and to advance the welfare and objectives of the student body.

The Student Bar Association acts as a liaison between the student body and the administration of the law school and strives to represent the entirety of the New England Law student community when advocating on its behalf. In addition, the SBA strives to promote fellowship and goodwill among students, faculty, and the administration, as well as to provide students with the tools and opportunities to make the most out of their law school experience.

The SBA funds the variety of student groups within the law school and is involved in co-sponsoring speakers on current legal and professional issues, organizing social activities, and offering opportunities to become active in the New England Law and greater Boston community.
