Meg Stanley is a criminal defense attorney with over 10 years of experience advocating for the protection of civilians' liberties and the rights of individuals charged with crimes. Meg is from Hingham, MA, and after living in New Orleans during college, she returned to Boston where she began practicing law after her graduation from New England Law. Meg spent the first few years of her practice handling divorce, personal injury, and other civil litigation for a small firm in South Boston. In 2014, Meg started Stanley Law Office, based in Boston, which focuses primarily on criminal defense. Meg has been a member of Suffolk Lawyers for Justice since 2014, where she has zealously advocated on behalf of indigent criminal defendants. Meg has tried 25 jury trials, including homicides and life felonies. She is licensed to practice in both the state and federal courts in Massachusetts.
