Ryan Groff is an attorney in Massachusetts and Marketing Manager at Casetext. Groff teaches accredited CLE courses on law practice management, legal operations, and practice productivity, and regularly presents at county, state, and national bar associations. He formerly worked in product at LEAP Legal Software, and served a 3-year term representing Massachusetts on the Taxpayer Advocacy Panel, an independent federal advisory committee improving taxpayer experience at the IRS. He is currently a board member and officer at the Heathmere Center for Cultural Engagement.
Before and during law school, Groff was firm administrator and paralegal at a small law firm where he led firm operations, helped estate and trust administration clients in domestic and international cases to navigate probate courts and state and federal tax agencies, and helped 65+ Massachusetts residents apply for long-term healthcare coverage.
Prior to law school, Groff was Administrative Director of a center of faith and culture, and taught courses at various colleges. He lives in Massachusetts with his wife, four children, and their dog, Dobby.
