Professor Christine Abely is an Assistant Professor teaching Contracts & International Business Transactions at New England Law. Following her graduation from law school, she worked at several Massachusetts law firms in business litigation and international trade and sanctions law. Prior to teaching at New England Law, she taught as an adjunct lecturer at Boston University School of Law.

Professor Abely has written in the areas of compliance, contracts, and international trade and sanctions. She has published or has papers forthcoming in the Florida State Law Review, the Tennessee Law Review, and the Virginia Journal of International Law, among others. Her shorter pieces and blog posts have appeared in The Hill, NYU’s Compliance & Enforcement Blog, The ALI Adviser, and the Harvard Journal of Sports & Entertainment Law Blog.
