Professional Background
Professor Louisa Gibbs is a 2014 alum of New England Law | Boston.
After graduating from New England Law, Professor Gibbs served as an AmeriCorps Fellow for Rosie’s Place and Greater Boston Legal Services in the Housing and Family Law Units. Following that, she served as a term clerk for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Rhode Island.
For the past four years, she has served as a staff attorney at the Northeast Justice Center in the Affirmative Litigation Unit, where she represents indigent clients in housing and consumer cases before Housing and Superior Court across Northeastern Massachusetts. Most notably, she was lead counsel on a class action comprised of over three-hundred members.
