When we say New England Law | Boston is in the middle of everything, we mean it! Here’s a list of some of the hot spots within a 10-minute walk from campus (roughly half a mile). Spoiler alert: it’s a lot.

Whether you’re planning to visit our school or you’re a new student trying to get your bearings, we hope you find these nearby attractions helpful. Welcome to the neighborhood!

First things first…

New England Law | Boston is in Boston’s Theater District, bordered by the Financial District, South End, and Back Bay neighborhoods (see the map below). We’re also only a block away from Boston Common and Boston Public Garden.

When people say “downtown Boston,” this is what they mean.

Government agencies and courts

Some of the top government agencies are also some of the top employers of New England Law students and alumni.

Favorite restaurants

Hope you’re hungry! At New England Law, you will be surrounded by great restaurants. This isn’t even all of them—just a few of our favorites.

Coffee shops and bakeries

Law students run on coffee. Luckily, at New England Law, they don’t have to run far.

Transportation/T stations

If you think there’s a lot on this list, just wait until you travel beyond New England Law’s neighborhood. And with six major public transportation hubs nearby, that’s easy to do.

Entertainment

Being in Boston’s Theater District has its advantages…

This list barely scratches the surface of all there is to see and do in and around Boston—not to mention its 3,500 law firms.

You’ll find everything you’d want from a world-class city: Champion sports teams. Magnificent museums and libraries. Famous concert venues. Theater, ballet, and opera companies. Scenic biking and walking trails. Designer shopping. And restaurants for every taste and budget. Plus, getting out of the city for beach trips or New England’s legendary skiing is easy.

You’re going to love it here.
