New England Law Boston is expanding its Bar Examination Preparation Program faculty and invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Academic Excellence to teach in the Bar Examination Preparation Program. Responsibilities will include teaching upper-level bar preparation courses; individually advising students on the bar exam during the academic year; and individually assisting graduates studying for the winter and summer bar exams. The position requires availability to work with both day and evening program students, including during the summer months, and at times on weekends. New England Law Boston invites applications from candidates for tenure-track assistant professor positions to begin in the fall 2027 semester. We seek to hire individuals who are interested in teaching foundational courses, such as Contracts, Property, or Torts, and who will contribute to meeting our curricular needs by teaching upper-level courses in other areas, such as Business Associations, Intellectual Property, Taxation, and Trusts & Estates.
Applicants must possess a J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school or an equivalent degree, and must demonstrate a commitment to excellent teaching and strong scholarly potential. Moreover, we actively seek candidates from across the ideological spectrum who bring diverse viewpoints to their teaching and scholarship, including those whose perspectives are underrepresented in legal academia.
The salary range for these positions is $140,000 to $165,000, commensurate with experience.
