Centers

New England Law has three academic and research hubs with a singular focus: To enable you to put what you learn in the classroom to work in the real worlds of business law, social responsibility, and international law and policy.

I want to…

Learn on the Front Lines

Center for Business Law

Learn how the legal and business worlds connect and address emerging issues such as compliance, commercial law, corporate governance, securities practice, intellectual property, health law, and more. Gain hands-on experience through an internship or by participating in one of our well-respected advocacy teams. Connect with some of the top minds in business law at Center events.

Center for Law and Social Responsibility

Become the legal advocate you aspire to be. At the Center, you will gain hands-on lawyering experience in criminal justice, immigration, education, the environment, or women’s and children’s issues by working alongside professors or full-time legal service providers on volunteer or pro bono projects, as well as other real-world initiatives. You might also earn recognition on your New England Law transcript.

Center for International Law and Policy

Immerse yourself in the study of international law. Through highly sought-after international externships, research projects, academic courses, and Center-sponsored events, you will develop both expertise and empathy. You will also have the opportunity to gain firsthand experience and real-world skills in international legal issues, including business and human rights, international law, post-conflict reconstruction, and transitional justice.

Katie Milligan, Graduate

“Our graduates stay, grow their careers, and help build our communities. We’re woven into the fabric of New England.”

“There are hundreds of law schools to choose from, but very few of them leave the impression New England Law does on its students.”

Czara Venegas, Graduate
