MBA & CSO Presents - A Day in the Life of a Tax Attorney
Wednesday, March 29, 2023 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM

 New England Law and the Massachusetts Bar Association's Taxation Law Section Council will co-host an informational program for J.D. students with an interest in a career in Taxation Law. A panel of tax professionals will speak about their career experiences and describe a day in the life of an attorney in this field. After the presentation there will be time to network with members of the panel.

This program is for law students. The event will be held at New England Law’s Portia Law Library, 154 Stuart Street, in the second floor Cherry Room.

RELS and REBA Present: Practice Areas in Real Estate Law

 The REBA New Lawyers Section, together with the New England Law Real Estate Law Society, will host an in-person panel discussion for law students and real estate professionals.

 

Join attorneys from many different real estate practices for a lively and practical discussion about a few of the various career paths available for attorneys who practice in the field of real estate. From environmental work, to residential conveyancing, to commercial financing, development and leasing, to permitting and litigation, the panelists’ practices represent a broad swath of the Massachusetts real estate bar. The program is intended to provide law students and new lawyers a glimpse into the unique and diverse practice areas that exists under the umbrella of “Real Estate” law, and the potential avenues thereunder that can lead to a successful and fulfilling career.

 

This panel discussion is open to all New England Law | Boston students and REBA members, regardless of when they were admitted to the bar. Please feel free to invite other young lawyers (who need not be REBA members), as well as any other real estate professionals who may enjoy participating in the panel discussion.
