Professional Background

Upon graduating from New England Law, Peter began as an Associate Attorney in Massachusetts working in civil litigation. His practice initially consisted of the areas of tort law, social security disability, and workers’ compensation. His practice areas eventually expanded into consumer protection, medical malpractice, and products liability.

After 6 years in litigation practice, Peter pivoted into the corporate sector as a Compliance Attorney and Product Consultant, working with clients to maintain compliance with federal law requirements when settling workers’ compensation and general liability claims, as well as predictive analytics and AI modeling for new claims.

Peter then returned to New England Law in as a Career Coach and Professional Development Instructor before accepting his current position at the Fletcher School in 2023. He has now returned to litigation practice reopening his solo firm, Towne | Law, focusing on the representation of children and families involved in state intervention proceedings, as well as civil rights, consumer protection, criminal defense, and general practice.
