Professional Background

Professor Coulthard, or “Coach” to his students, is primarily focused on coaching third-year law students to pass the bar exam, as well as teaching in New England Law’s Academic Excellence Program.

Professor Coulthard is currently a National Multistate Bar Exam Lecturer for PMBR, specializing in multiple-choice test-taking skills and bar exam preparation.

He has practiced before the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals, the Federal District Courts of Colorado and Kansas, the Kansas and Missouri Courts of Appeals and Supreme Courts, and numerous other state district and circuit courts. Before attending law school, Professor Coulthard served as a US Army Infantry Officer in Europe and the Middle East.
