Professional Background

Prior to joining the New England Law faculty, Professor Susan K. Schwartz was a staff attorney at the Massachusetts Trial Court Virtual Court Service Center, where she provided legal information and procedural guidance to self-represented litigants. Earlier in her career, Susan was a senior staff attorney at Casa Myrna, managing a statewide legal helpline for survivors of domestic violence. Susan also founded and operated her own solo law practice for several years, representing family law clients throughout Massachusetts.
