Professional Background

In 2019, David Lewis became the first Chief of the Integrity Review Bureau in the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, responsible for reviewing and investigating post-conviction claims of actual innocence, unjust and wrongful convictions, and sentencing disparities. David earned this position after working for decades as an appellate litigation attorney, both as the sole practitioner of David A.F. Lewis, LLP, and a managing partner of Lewis & Malone, LLP.
