Professional Background

Shannon Flanders’ legal career has focused on sophisticated international and domestic estate and tax planning for high net worth families and individuals with worldwide assets. Her work has also included planning with retirement assets, charitable foundations, fiduciary administration, complex tax return preparation, and representation before state and federal tax authorities. She has prepared materials and presented on these topics to MCLE and other organizations.  She enjoys sharing knowledge and expertise with others and prior to law school worked as a high school Spanish and art teacher. In her free time she teaches yoga and meditation.
